SOLAR POWER SOLUTION

The purpose of a solar hybrid system is to optimize energy generation and storage, especially in areas with intermittent or limited access to the grid or where there is a need for reliable power supply. There is also an added switch used as Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). This is between the Solar power System and the utility power grid

Key components and features of a solar hybrid solution typically include:

Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Panels: The solar hybrid system incorporates solar PV panels that capture sunlight and convert it into electricity. Solar panels are a clean and renewable energy source that can be harnessed during daylight hours.

  • Energy Storage: A solar hybrid system usually includes energy storage capabilities, such as batteries or other storage technologies. The excess solar energy generated during the day is stored in these batteries for use during periods of low solar irradiation or at night.
  • Backup Power Source: To ensure continuous power supply during extended periods of low solar generation, a backup power source is integrated into the system. This can be a diesel or gas generator and a connection to the main grid.
  • Inverter and Control System: The solar hybrid system employs an inverter and control system that manages the flow of electricity between the solar panels, energy storage, and backup power source. It ensures the optimal utilization of available energy sources and efficient power distribution.
